About Kidz Kapab

Kidz Kapab was founded in 2010 at Arise Haiti on Gelee Beach, Haiti. Kidz Kapab began as an after school bible study where children were taught God’s Word and encouraged to “Do Big Things for God” (Fe Gwo Bagay Pou Bondye).

Today Kidz Kapab meets at the Arise Haiti Transformation Center each Friday afternoon. Currently over 400 children from the beach front communities are members. Each week in the Kidz Kapab Club children are challenged to learn Biblical truths through the presentation of the Gospel in visually stimulating ways.  Kidz Kapab encourages children to "hide God's Word in their heart" through Scripture memorization and Bible quizzing competitions..  Children are also encouraged to use their God-given talents for the Kingdom.

The Arise Team has witnessed a dramatic change in the lives of many children since the foundation of this Kidz Kapab. The team has observed first-hand, children learning God’s Word with the ability to recite the passage one year later. We have seen the children increasing in confidence and willingness to use their talents and gifts. We truly we have seen God’s favor on this ministry and we strongly believe that sowing into the next generation will bring about the long-term transformation of this community.
